Tacoma Railfan Days 2001 - Jack Anderson and his crews at the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad put on another sucessful 2-day Railfan Days at Tacoma, Washington on May 5 and 6, 2001.

Jack brought Hammond Lumber 2-8-2T #17 and Porter 2-8-2 #17 down from the shops at Mineral to pull the excursion trains up the Milwaukee's famous "Tacoma Hill".

Harold Borovec and his crews from the Cowlitz, Chehalis & Cascade Ry brought venerable 2-8-2 #15 all the way from Chahalis to pull the excrsion trains on the run to Fife. The weather was beautiful and the crowds heavy.
